FAQs - Private Sessions

What is involved in private sessions?

A private Pilates session is a fully personalised one-to-one experience tailored specifically to your body, goals, and movement needs. Sessions are 45 minutes, except for the initial consultation which is 75 minutes. Led by our Lead Instructor with over 10 years of experience, sessions combine expert guidance with science-backed, evidence-based approaches to help improve strength, mobility, posture, rehabilitation, performance, and overall wellbeing in a focused and supportive environment.

How do I book a session?

Private sessions can be booked by contacting the studio directly or through our booking system. All private sessions require an initial 75 minute consultation sessions that includes a full postural analysis and breakdown of functionality and areas of focus. Following an initial consultation, there is the option to book single sessions, a block of 4, a block of 8 or a custom block of seasons.

I don't want a consultation session, can I still do privates?

Due to the nature of private sessions, we highly recommend a consultation session. This forms the foundation of our time working together and offers you a complete picture of your body, posture, alignment and areas of focus. Consultations are for you to explore what you want to work on, discuss any injuries, limitations or issues and provide all information for the most comprehensive service we can provide.

Without a consultation, sessions will be less tailored as we’ll have less information to work with. Skipping a consultation is usually best suited to clients without injuries or concerns who simply want extra confidence, privacy, or a more personal experience.

Who are private sessions for?

Anyone can attend a private session, from complete beginners to experienced clients looking for more personalised guidance and progression.

Private sessions can be adapted to support injury recovery, mobility limitations, postural concerns, and rehabilitation goals where appropriate.

Sessions can also be tailored to support different stages of pregnancy with safe and suitable modifications.

We specialise in some forms of rehabilitation, injury, mobility, strengthening and pre/postnatal.

What are the benefits of private Pilates?
